There are three different types of stamp duties payable on the buying, selling or taking over of properties in Singapore commonly known:

• Buyer’s Stamp Duty (BSD)
• Additional Buyer’s Stamp Duty (ABSD)
• Seller’s Stamp Duty (SSD)

Buyer’s Stamp Duty (BSD) is payable on the buying and taking over of any properties type in Singapore.  There are different BSD rates in residential properties depending on the profile of the purchaser.
